Meet Fonda

This week we will be featuring Fonda, a “visionary partner”.   Her interview can be found in this post, and we will share an article from her on Wednesday!

Featured Guest Fonda Clayton

Basics:  name, business name, how long in business.

Fonda Clayton, fondaclayton.com, 16 years: entrepreneur, coach for 4 years

What is your why? (What sparked you to get started doing this?)

My mother is my muse. She died with most of her magic still inside of her, though everyone around her benefited from it. Waiting for the perfect time, which doesn’t exist. Even before I became a coach, when I worked in corporate, I always wanted to know what made people their happiest and did they know how to find it. I have touched (massaged) thousands of people and the common thread is people waiting for permission to go get their happy. It is paralleled in coaching.

What is your Band-Aid? (What need do you fill?)

I show people that the magic they are seeking they already possess. I am searching (call in) for their visceral, undeniable yes! I want it to bubble up so that it can’t be denied, so that at the end of life, there are NO regrets.

How do you want your business to be seen by the world?

My business (me) is an agent of change, it is a place where it is safe to do self discovery, unlearning societal bullshit and percolating the juiciest life possible for each individual that my business touches.

Who is your target market? Be as detailed as possible.

My avatar is a woman whose masks are so heavy and she is so tired of being just over ok (perpetually sad) that she is afraid she missing something and that life is passing her by. She is disconnected from her body, her soul and her life: just going through the motions.

How do you want to make your clients feel?

Empowered, resilient, confident, unstoppable, seen (that they matter), loved

How do you accomplish making them feel that way?

to clearly see who she is behind the masks that she wears, for her to tell the truth of herself and not what the world dictates of her: to listen deeply and to provide loving unconditional space. to ask questions of her that stir her soul.

What is your special gift? The one thing that the world would be missing if you didn’t do what you do?

I provide a mirror for self love, acceptance and joy

What ignited your brand? What is ONE thing that you’ve done that has made the biggest impact on your business?

I told the truth of why I am here on the planet and who I uniquely serve vs what ‘they’ say the market place can hold.

If you could do go back to the beginning of this journey of starting your business, what is ONE thing you would do differently?

I have no regrets. all paths have lead me here. My ego would say, begun sooner, but I have not regrets.

What are some of your goals for 2015?

my goals for 2015 is to do more speaking, grow my email list and increase JVs

What advice would you give to someone who wanted to start a business doing what you do?

get really clear on who you would want to have a meal with, what makes you the most curious about them, how does your special sauce help them be a better them

How do you define success for yourself/your business?  In what ways do you measure that success?

when a client is clear on their life vision, when they release a limiting belief, when she can feel (fully: be in her body, feminine, resourceful, safe, empowered)

Last but certainly not least, please list all of the ways in which we can connect with you! (website, facebook, LinkedIn, twitter, pinterest, etc.)
